Daniel Aiello Business Portrait on Marquis Who's Who
My recent business portrait client Dan Aiello was deservingly credited with a spotlight on the Marquis Who’s Who!
“Over the past seven years as a trial lawyer representing people, he has recovered over $30 million in gross settlements as a plaintiff trial lawyer.”
“Daniel W. Aiello, Esq., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.”

Congratulations Dan!
The Hero Photo - My Client's Dad
I had the pleasure of speaking with a client of mine who I had previously retouched one of the only photographs she had of her late mother. She passed while my client was just a little girl.
This request was to have a special and very cherished photo of her family and father retouched. Some TLC was needed to make this already special family photo be one that would stand the test of time and be hung on the wall for all to admire.
It was my task to have this photo of her Dad look forward and be the HERO photo that it really was!
Here is my work…and the previous retouching of her mother. I hope you enjoy and thank you for checking this story out.

Collection of Memories
I truly do enjoy making unique pieces of art through collages. Whether it’s a 50th wedding anniversary, 40th, 50th, 60th birthday celebration, I call this celebration a piece of artwork because there are no two collages alike.
When you come across a crossroads in your life and you understand that you’re grateful for the life you’ve lived…it is only natural to want to celebrate it.
Bringing together those special moments, I thrive in creating a collage that’s unique to your life. A collaboration to understand the celebration through photography.
ONE STEP CLOSER...to a better picture.
I’m here today to bring you some concepts to make your own personal pictures MORE impactful. Tips anyone can do, right now.
No fancy equipment needed.
Obviously the quality of light is one of the most important factors when photographing. The way you use light in your photo has a major effect in how people “Ohhh and Ahhh” over your photo.
Using the sun to your advantage, the harsh brightness of the sun is what you want to avoid. Taking a photo within an entryway leading to outside, using the overhang that blocks the sun, locating shade from a tree are excellent ways to use the sun to your advantage.
This one may sound like a silly tip for taking better photos, but the easiest way to take more impactful photos is to be brave and move much closer to the subject.
Start by having the entire subject fill the frame of the photo. When you think your ready to take your photo, stop and move closer.
Thats it!
Yes, it’s that easy!!
The Portrait
Simplicity - Having a strong portrait really speaks volumes when the essence of you is captured with the camera.
Expectations - A strong portrait can be fulfilling, especially if you were not expecting the results.
Authentic - Your eyes tell the story, no hiding behind them.
Execution - You just have to show up, creating your portrait with specific lighting techniques & posing is how the story is executed.

The Fisherman’s Portrait Series
I have much respect for the gentleman that I’ve photographed throughout the years. Anthony and his lifelong knowledge and mastery in the field of fishing, photography, video, biking and of life itself has always made it a joy for me personally to improve upon.
The thirst to be outdoors and to make the most of the day is a mantra that propels Anthony through hard times and those difficult winters.
Personally, I have learned to never settle creatively from him. Four years of college would never equal the amount that I’ve be exposed to.
Just get up…get out and create!
Have fun along the way!
Enjoy the photos. Thank you.
